When 'Not About Politics' Means 'All About Politics'

Politicians sometimes say the opposite of what they mean. That seems to be especially true when they insist an issue "isn't about politics." Nowadays, politicians of all stripes seek the moral high ground by claiming something "isn't a political issue." Some even say it about presidential politics.
